Chemical Peel
The Jessner Peel is generally considered a medium-level peel containing 14% of each acid (Salicylic, Lactic, and Resorcinol.) The depth of this peel is determined by the number of layers applied during application and the tolerance level of the skin it is applied to.
It is recommended that new users begin with 1-3 layers for a light/medium peel. Generally, 4-6 layers will result in a medium/deep peel and 7-8 layers can result in a deep peel. The distinct blend of acids works in synergy to combat hyperpigmentation, sun damage, and rough texture to reveal vibrant glowing skin.

Pre-Care

Don’t exfoliate. Since a chemical peel is an in-depth exfoliation, it’s important that you don’t exfoliate for at least 1 week before your appointment.

Stay hydrated. Your skin should be well-hydrated on the day of your chemical peel.
Post Care

Generously apply Hyaluronic Serum and moisturizer as needed for tight, dry skin. Use a minimum of broad-spectrum SPF 30 every day to protect healing skin. Limit direct sun exposure.

The Jessner chemical peel (14%) will have some moderate downtime. The skin typically will darken and peel off in sheets. The peeling process starts on the 4th or 5th day and lasts up to 7 days.
